Activated Montmorillonite Clay Desiccant

Clay desiccant is the least expensive of all desiccants and is a naturally occurring non-hazardous mineral composed of magnesium aluminum silicate (a calcium aluminum silicate type of hydros clay).
Montmorillonite clay is used in most industrial applications requiring humidity control because it recharges easily and does not swell as it adsorbs water vapor.

How to storage ?

Desiccant should be stored in dry place or goods shelf. Packed in steel drum, Carboard bucket , carton, plastic bottle,polyethylene plastic bags, flexible collection bags and so on.

Drench, moisture and sunlight should be avoided during transportation process.Shelf life: 1 year

Storage method：

Desiccant works better in closed environment.
Do not use desiccant if you can not guarantee the desiccant in a confined space, because desiccant can not absorb endless moisture in the air.
After putting the desiccant into your products, seal them up immediately.
The opened desiccant which have not used up, should be sealed up in case of getting damp.
Please keep cool and dry transportation and storage environment, handle desiccant with care during transportationto avoid internal and external package to be broken.

How to determine the dosage of desiccant?

Depends on many factors: Size of desiccant, performance of packaging material,environment, atmospheric conditions, shelf life of goods, air tightness and so on.
